It truly is my favorite place on earth. It was great to be able to go behind the boat this year, even though I am a huge sissy. I did go on one tube ride and that was enough for me. (How impressed are you Kelsey?) I did enjoy skiing and wake surfing though. Bennett loved the water, riding in the boat, tube rides, and spending time with his cousins. The food was to die for, and of coarse one of my favorite things about the lake is the card games...I never get sick of them. The two weeks went by way to fast and it was so fun to be there with my whole family. Thanks mom and dad for the great trip, we love going to echo!

Crazy Aunts

The other day we got to go pick up Melvin's aunts from the airport. They treated us to dinner at Milestones and then we went swimming at their hotel. They sure are a hoot; it was great to see you Aunt Rita and Aunt Beryl.

Good Bye Bieber!

I finally caved and took Bennett in for his first haircut. I couldn't figure out why it was so hard for me, it is just hair right? Now I know...he doesn't look like a baby anymore, he looks like a toddler. Don't get me wrong, I think his haircut looks great he just looks so grown up. I may or may not have shed a tear or two...don't judge me! He was pretty good overall; he has a few crazy spots from when he thought it was funny to shake his head no during the cut, but at least now I won't hear that he looks like Donald Trump anymore...sigh.

Beautiful Wedding!

So at the end of July we went to Mark and Brett's wedding! The decorations were beautiful, the food was amazing and Brett looked stunning (oh and I guess Mark looked handsome too)! I truly wished that I could somehow go back in time and magically change my hair to look like Brett's did on my own wedding day; I loved it. Melvin loved catching up with old friends...Bennett was quite the hit with them, he loved showing off all his tricks.

I love weddings! I also can't wait for these two to pop out some babies, I think they will have the best looking kids.
