A little late...

So just wanted to do a quick post and wish my pops a Happy Father's Day! Gee whiz I am one lucky girl to have such an amazing dad! One of the things that I love about my dad is that he loves to spend time with us. Growing up he spent hours playing cards, boating, and taking us to the golf course. Good gravy he is just the greatest!

Also a shout out to Melvin... Bennett is so lucky to have him as his dad, I am pretty sure there is no one Bennett would rather hang out with. He is truly the best. So on Father's Day I asked Melv what special meal he wanted....he replied with "hot dogs" golly am I really that bad of a cook that he would want hot dogs? oh well


Man, I am so blessed to have a great father, father-in-law and father to my kid! Happy Father's Day!

Surprise Party...

Last Sunday we went to Sylvan Lake to surprise my Grandma for her birthday, the lovely event was planned by my Aunt Nancy. My Grandma was beaming all day, she was sure surprised! It was great to see some cousins, aunts and uncles, mom, dad and Haley. We had a great time stuffing our faces with delicious food, playing bocce ball and blowing bubbles.

Crunching and Munching!

The other day I was sitting on the couch and I heard a big crunching and munching sound, at first I figure Bennett must just be grinding his teeth because he is really into that right now, then he continues to chomp like he is eating something...I force my fingers through his sharp little teeth to retrieve the unknown object and this is the treasure I find...

What is it you ask???? DOG FOOD...how nice of Tucker to share! No Bennett did not get it out of the dog dish...Tucker loves to play with his food, he brings a pebble of food into the living room and tosses it into the air and chases after it...when he is done playing with it he then eats it. Tucker must have just tossed it right into Bennett's lap! The worst part is....Bennett really seemed to enjoy the taste!

My Maddie

Today is my niece Maddie's 5th birthday! She is great, not only is she super cute, smart and a great older sister, she gives the best compliments too! No one's compliments are as sincere and well thought out as Maddie's! Another thing I love about her is she can't leave my house without saying goodbye and giving me a big hug. I just can't get enough of this girl...Happy Birthday Maddie! We sure love you!
