Things that I am LOVING right now!

-He slurps his milk from the cereal bowl
-Little kids in gumboots...so cute
-Grant off Survivor...so good looking and athletic, I hate guys in shorts shorts, and dreads creep me right out, but I think he is the only one around who can pull it off!
-It is BBQ season, which means I don't have to cook as much!
-Freshly painted toenails!
-Less than 2 months and I will have a 2 kids, I love snuggling newborns! (Sorry no pregnant pics for me)
-Melvin mowed the lawn last week, I sat outside just so I could really enjoy the fresh cut grass smell!
-The weather this week should be great! Bennett even got some rosy cheeks at the park the other day
-Our neighbours (Gus and Verna) made Bennett some jello eggs for Easter! When we returned the container with a thank- you card, Gus answered the door, he was busy watching WWE Monday Night Raw (wrestling). He is in his late 80's...made me laugh, they are so cute!

HeLP!

I think my husband is trying to kill me...

My doctor has advised me to cut out sugar until after this baby arrives...not because I failed the sick orange syrup test, but because he doesn't want me to have a 15lb baby...ok that may have been a bit of an exaggeration...moving on, he told me to start after the Easter break thank goodness.

So I started about a week ago and was doing pretty good until Melvin says, "I am just craving homemade cookies, I think I will make some," I reply, "are you serious? This is my first couple days off sugar, you haven't made cookies in like a year and now you crave them, ughgh! He made them and I may have cheated and ate 3 cookies total, not bad! The next day he asks if I want a bowl of ice cream....umm hello I have cut out sugar, so him and Bennett decide to share a tub of rainbow sherbet (my favorite) right in front of me. Yesterday he decided to do a little grocery shopping and brought home some fresh donuts from Safeway and asks if I want one! Next thing you know he will bringing home a pecan cluster blizzard and that could just send me over the top!

The sad part is I am not normally a sugar lover, I love chips, popcorn, crackers, basically anything salty. But for some reason this pregnancy I love sugar, mostly donuts and ice cream. Only 2 more months....if I don't answer the phone for a few days you will know Melvin has still been up to his sleazy tactics and done me in!

On a happy note, it is my Grandpa Bennett's 90th Birthday today!...He is just the greatest man you'll ever meet!

Happy Easter!

For Easter we went to Cardston, my mom made a great meal, we got to see G&G Bennett, the kids got spoiled and went on an egg hunt, we spent an afternoon at the gym and we even went down to Kalispell to do a little shopping before this baby comes! It was fun to get away for a few days!

Life as a parent of 4.5 kids

Nancy and Tate celebrated their 10 year anniversary in Kauai, and asked me to watch the kids while they were away. My parents came up to help out for the weekend, and Megan decided to be a good sister and took some work off so she could help me and thank goodness she did. Now here is the thing, the kids were not bad at all, they were actually really well behaved, but going from 1 kid to 4 is tough stuff. The sad part is I didn't even have to prepare one meal, Nancy had all the meals pre-made in the freezer and an activity for the kids to do everyday...so in other words she is super mom and I am just a wimp and super LAZY!
I had fun while I was there but was totally exhausted when I got home. I am glad Nancy and Tate had a good trip and I have already started to get my pay back....Nancy had to watch Tucker for a few days...and she absolutely hates dogs!
Sawyer is such a nut...check out his sweet PJ getup...he had some pretty funny comments to like, "Aunt Kay why is your belly so fat?" Or he would always call me an "eyeball."

Love this picture of my pops!

At the end of the week I wanted to take Tylee home with me, she was so helpful and the day was always easier when she was home. I can't believe how independent she is, she would wake herself up and get ready for school all by herself...thank goodness!
