I just LOVE this kid....

My Bennett is the darn tootin' cutest lil guy!


I LOVE:
-the way he lights up when Melvin walks in the room
-how he is always happy in the morning
-his beautiful big blues
-that he has the best hairline (didn't get that from the Bennett side)
-that he will go to anyone
-his smile (he is almost always smiling!)
-his two bottom teeth
-the noises he makes (one sounds like Shredder off of TMNT)
-his chubby cheeks
-how he likes to fake cough
-how when he is mad he clenches his fists hard, screams and his whole body shakes
-his chubby feet
-how he loves to be outside
-how he loves when people talk to him on the phone, he gets so excited
-that he loves music
-swimming with him, he is a little fish
-how he is easy to entertain
-that he puts everything in his mouth
-that he loves to give squeezes, hugs and kisses




Let's be honest I pretty much love everything about him! How could you not?

Just Uncanny!

So I have been watching "Dancing With The Stars" lately and I just can't get over how much these two people resemble each other, it is just uncanny! The defined chin/jaw, the smirk/smile, the nose...pretty much everything....who is with me?



They even tend to move the same way and are both a little eccentric/dramatic.


Twinners? Yes! The first picture is Evan Lysacek and the second one is Spencer Dorward...just saying in case you couldn't tell.

Also I am both happy/sad that Kate Gosselin got voted off this week....I am sad because she brought humour to the show. She was so uncoordinated and looked like a wreck out there-pure comic relief; she was also so dramatic...I loved it (who I am to talk and judge...I took an adult hip-hop class last year and I looked absolutely ridiculous compared to all the 50-60 year olds)! Poor Kate she put in a good effort though. I am also happy she is gone because really, Tony needs a break!

Scrub-a-dub-dub

Bennett just loves the tub! This kid goes nuts when you even just turn on the water; he kicks, squeals and splashes the whole time. I just can't get enough of this guy!

Can't wait to do this again!

Have you seen the forecast for the weekend?....wahoo I can't wait to be outside. Meg and I went to the park two weeks ago when the weather was beautiful; Bennett loved it!

Easter Weekend!

Hope everyone had a great Easter Holiday, we sure did! Nancy and her kids came up to Edmonton for a visit and we had a lot of fun. Then we headed to good ol' Elk Point for the rest of the weekend for some delicious food, conference watching, treasure hunting and a bonfire night. Here are some pics that captured our week!

Melvin was in heaven because Sawyer loved to play hockey outside with him!


Meanwhile, Tylee lugged Tucker around all day....he loved the attention



The weather was beautiful and we spent most of the day outside!


Later that night Kellie and the kids came over and we had some tasty sloppy joes, we went kite flying, and the kids decorated some Easter sugar cookies...I wish I got some pics of this.

The next day we all headed to Millenium Place out in Sherwood Park to swim. Bennett loved the water, he was content for a good 2 hours in the floaty fish, isn't he cute?


While we were swimming, Sawyer and I went down the water slide together. I landed on the little guys toes and pretty much broke them. He hobbled around in pain for the rest of the weekend...he did look a little funny while he walked which would make me laugh; but mostly when I saw him I felt guiltier than a prostitute in church would when he limped....good thing he is a tough little guy! Another funny thing that happened is while we were in the change room at the pool a prepubescent teen walked up to Megan and said..."umm did you get that towel from the showers because I think it is mine!" Megan looked over to me and said, "didn't you grab this towel out of my locker for me?" ummm sorry no hahah that is right Meg took a complete strangers towel and had to give it back to the girl...it was sopping wet! It was hilarious! Geez I love Megs. We ended the day off with a tasty dinner at Megan's house and a bonfire. In the morning we met at Cora's and had a tasty breakfast!

Later that day we headed to Elk Point and had a great Easter meal...Here is Melvin's dad cutting up the bird!


Later that day we went hunting for treasure...that's right, there are treasures hidden all over the World...ask me about it sometime! We did find a treasure but I forgot to take a pic.





We had a great week! It was great to see family.

The Big 52

Look who's birthday it is!



Just gotta love this guy. He is 52, but still really young at heart! Just naming a few things I love about him:

-He still sometimes jokes around like a 16 year old boy!
-He is the best dancer around (great at jiving and hip hop)
-He is smart even though I can beat him at the game Blockus
-He will even play pillow tag and murder spree with us
-He treats his boat like it is one of his children
-He makes a mean steak
-He tells the best jokes
-He puts on a strong, intimidating front, but he truly is a softy!
-He is the best grandpa around!



Really what is there not to love about this guy (besides the tube rides he gives!)
